INTRODUCTION
My name is Marc Sheridan and I am a 21 year old university student living in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada. I Decided to make a blog to keep track off my life and let everyone know what is up and basically where I am at right now. Its getting near the end of the semester at school, I am taking Applied Disaster and Emergency Studies at Brandon University it is a pretty cool program and the classes are interesting. I have been playing alot of poker for the last year or so and quit my summer job last year to pursue poker playing more seriously, due to some bad luck away from the tables with autopac and homeowners insurance after the burning of my car (pics will be posted)I had to cash most of my money out of various online poker sites to cover these losses. So its been almost a year since I started playing poker seriously and this is where I sit as we speak. I have been cashing out money the last month or so to cover bills and spending money but basically I started with a bankroll of $400 on titan poker, within the first month I had grinded that up to $1500 playing .25/1 NL, I cashed out $500 for expenses and moved my roll over to interpoker where I currently can be found playing .25/.50 NL 4 tabling and trying to clear a solid monthly bonus and 36% rakeback. Since my $1000 deposit on Interpoker a week and a half ago I sit at $1400 and will be receiving my first rakeback deposit on the 6th of April. The idea I have is to build my roll up over the summer and get rid of my student loans and start saving for a house. I will be playing poker for probably around 6 hours a day for the summer, scheduling it in around working out, golfing, skateboarding and probably taking some summer classes. My other goal is to play in the WSOP this july in Las Vegas. I finished second in a 558 person FPP qualifier at PokerStars on Tuesday....only first place won a trip. This is the second close call on live event qualifiers as last year I finished second in a $100 qualifier for The UK Open on pacific poker ;ast summer. Finishing second and winning nothing, when first place wins a seat is a terrible feeling and a few people out there know what I am talking about and this is also my motivator to make it to the WSOP in July but I will not risk my bankroll chasing this goal. Well I will be posting daily to keep myself in line over the next few months.check back for more.......peace.
